 INFORMATION

  • Is your honey raw?
Yes! Our honey is raw and unpasteurized - made by bees from the nectar of flowers. Cheap, usually imported, & processed honey is heated hot enough to flow quickly through bottling systems, resulting in the loss of incredible nutritional value. Our honey never gets hotter than the hive itself, keeping the health benefits in place.
  • What is the difference in varieties?
Short answer...the dominant floral source! The blossoms of Clover, Apples, Raspberries, Blackberries, etc. have their own unique flavor. Each variety is extracted after the crop is pollinated.
  • Does honey spoil?
Actually, it is the only food that does not spoil if stored properly! Honey was found in ancient Egyptian tombs - still preserved! Honey will absorb moisture from the air, so keep the cap on your jar. Honey does NOT need to be refrigerated; honey that is too cold will crystalize sooner. We recommend keeping your jar of honey in a warmer spot in your kitchen. Truly raw honey will eventually crystallize; this is completely normal and a sign of good quality honey. If this happens, simply remove cap, place in a glass jar or bowl, and place in a pan of water over low heat (do not let water boil! ) until the honey returns to liquid.
  • How many honeybees are in a hive?
    Up to 30,000 honeybees!
